Services Available to Students With Disabilities

LSCC offers a comprehensive academic support program for qualified students, based on the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. All accommodations and services are arranged on an individual, case-by-case basis. The student must provide qualifying medical or psychological documentation that indicates the specific need for a reasonable accommodation in order to have equal access to programs and activities of the College. The student must also personally request, in a timely manner, that approved accommodations be provided for specific classes or activities.

To Access our services please call The Office for Students with Disabilities at (352) 365-3574 to schedule an appointment with an OSD counselor.
